Cantu Weightless Smooth + Hold Gel is a lightweight styling gel specially formulated for waves and curls. The formula provides pliable, shapeable curls with long-lasting medium hold while helping maintain definition without leaving flakes behind.
According to Cantu, the gel provides up to 48 hours of frizz-free medium hold. As the hair dries, it creates a smooth, shiny gel cast around defined curls, helping lock in definition while protecting the style against frizz and weather conditions. Once dry, the cast can be gently scrunched out for softer, naturally moving curls.
The formula is made with organic fair trade blue agave, which Cantu states helps promote stronger, smoother and healthier-looking hair. It also contains meadowfoam and macadamia to help moisturize and condition the hair strands.
The gel can be used on both wet and dry hair. On wet hair, it is ideal for creating definition and a long-lasting gel cast. On dry hair, a small amount can be applied for additional structure and hold.

Directions:
To create a gel cast, section wet hair and distribute the gel with your fingertips, raking from roots to ends. Allow hair to air dry or diffuse with a blow dryer to define texture and style.
On dry hair, apply a small amount to the fingertips for additional structure and hold. To break the gel cast once dry, coat your fingers with a light oil and gently scrunch the curls upward until the desired softness and style are achieved.
