Skala Divino Potão Hair Treatment Cream 1000g is an intensive 2-in-1 conditioning cream specially developed for curly, coily and transitioning hair types 3A through 4C. The product is particularly designed for people going through a hair transition, where chemically treated or straightened lengths are gradually replaced by the natural hair texture.
During a hair transition, two different textures can be present at the same time. New growth may have a naturally curly or coily pattern while older lengths remain straighter or chemically treated. Divino Potão is formulated to care for these different textures and help make the transition to natural hair easier to manage.
The formula is infused with castor oil, argan oil, vegetable keratin and collagen. This combination is designed to provide intensive conditioning, nourishment and repair for hair that needs additional support.
Castor oil (Ricinus Communis Seed Oil) provides rich conditioning care and helps dry lengths feel more supple. Argan oil (Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil) complements the formula with conditioning lipids that help dry and frizzy hair feel softer, smoother and appear shinier.
The formula also contains a combination of hydrolyzed wheat, corn and soy proteins. These proteins form part of the repairing component of the treatment and are particularly useful for damaged, fragile or chemically treated hair requiring additional conditioning during the transition process.
Panthenol and vitamin E are also included in the formula. Together with the oils and proteins, these ingredients contribute to a rich conditioning treatment designed to leave the hair softer and easier to manage.

According to Skala, the formula is free from sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, silicones and mineral oil.
As a conditioning treatment:
Apply to washed hair and massage throughout the lengths, avoiding the roots. Leave on for approximately 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For more intensive conditioning, Skala recommends using a heat cap for approximately 15 minutes before rinsing.
As a leave-in conditioner:
Divide damp hair into sections and apply a small amount through the lengths, avoiding the roots. Distribute evenly, do not rinse and style the curls as desired.
As a co-wash:
Apply a small amount to wet hair and distribute over the scalp. Gently massage with the fingertips as you would with conventional shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Repeat only when additional scalp cleansing is needed.
As a pre-shampoo treatment:
Divide dry, unwashed hair into sections and apply the treatment. Leave on for approximately 15 minutes, rinse and continue with shampoo and conditioner.
