Skala #MaisLisos Hair Treatment Cream 1000g is a multifunctional 2-in-1 hair cream specially developed for natural straight and straightened hair types 1A through 1C. The formula helps create smoother, more aligned strands, controls frizz and promotes a polished, healthy-looking shine.
The treatment is enriched with rice protein, corn starch and amino acids. Rice protein, together with hydrolyzed wheat and soy proteins, contributes to the repairing formula, while amino acids including glutamic acid, threonine and serine complement the conditioning composition.
The cream is designed to address a wide range of straight-hair needs. Skala identifies it as suitable for hair that is dry, frizzy, weak, dull, damaged, chemically treated or mixed to oily. It helps reduce excess volume and supports a smoother, more polished finish without unnecessarily weighing the hair down.
Within Skala’s Hair Care Schedule, #MaisLisos belongs to the Repair stage. According to Skala, the treatment provides hydration, nourishment, protection and alignment. The formula is also free from sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, silicones and mineral oil.
The versatile cream can be used as a conditioning treatment, leave-in conditioner, co-wash and pre-shampoo treatment, allowing one product to perform several functions within a routine for straight or straightened hair.
As a conditioning treatment:
Apply to washed hair and distribute throughout the lengths, avoiding the roots. Leave on for approximately 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For more intensive conditioning, Skala recommends using a heat cap for approximately 15 minutes before rinsing.
As a leave-in conditioner:
Divide damp hair into sections and apply a small amount through the lengths. Avoid the roots, distribute evenly, do not rinse and style as desired.
As a co-wash:
Apply a small amount to wet hair and distribute over the scalp. Gently massage with your fingertips as you would with conventional shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Repeat only when additional cleansing is needed.
As a pre-shampoo treatment:
Divide dry, unwashed hair into sections and apply the cream. Leave on for approximately 15 minutes, rinse and continue with shampoo and conditioner.
