Skala Watermelon Hair Treatment Cream 1000g, also known as Skala Melancia, is a nourishing 2-in-1 hair cream specially developed for curly and coily hair types 2A through 4C. The formula helps revitalize curls while supporting long-lasting definition, nourishment and a fresh fruity scent.
The treatment is infused with watermelon seed oil, the signature ingredient of the formula. The European composition also includes argan oil, shea butter, vitamin A and vitamin C. This combination conditions dry curls, helps maintain flexibility and supports strength, vitality and healthy-looking shine.
Skala states that Watermelon provides up to 72 hours of curl definition, making it suitable for curls that lose their shape quickly or need additional definition between wash days. Its versatile formula helps care for the natural curl pattern while reducing the need for several separate products.
Within Skala’s Hair Care Schedule, Watermelon belongs to the Nourishment stage. The formula is free from sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, silicones and mineral oil. It is also suitable for children over 3 years of age.
The multifunctional 2-in-1 cream can be used as a conditioning treatment, leave-in conditioner and co-wash. Skala also provides instructions for using it as a pre-shampoo treatment.
As a conditioning treatment:
Apply to washed hair and distribute throughout the lengths, avoiding the roots. Leave on for approximately 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For more intensive conditioning, use a heat cap and leave the treatment on for approximately 15 minutes before rinsing.
As a leave-in conditioner:
Divide damp hair into sections and apply a small amount through the lengths. Avoid the roots, distribute evenly and do not rinse. Style the curls as desired.
As a pre-shampoo treatment:
Divide dry, unwashed hair into sections and apply the treatment. Leave on for approximately 15 minutes, rinse and continue with shampoo and conditioner.
