Castor oil (Ricinus Communis Seed Oil) is a rich botanical oil widely used in hair-care formulas. Within this treatment, it contributes to the conditioning and flexibility of dry and vulnerable lengths.

As a deep conditioning treatment:
Apply Potão Desmaiado to washed hair and massage throughout the lengths, avoiding the roots. Leave on for approximately 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For more intensive conditioning, Skala recommends using a heat cap and leaving the treatment on for approximately 15 minutes before rinsing.
As a leave-in conditioner:
Divide damp hair into sections. Apply a small amount of the cream throughout the lengths, avoiding the roots. Distribute evenly, do not rinse and style the hair as desired.
As a co-wash:
Apply a small amount to wet hair and distribute over the scalp. Gently massage with the fingertips as you would with conventional shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Repeat only when additional scalp cleansing is required.
As a pre-shampoo treatment:
Divide dry, unwashed hair into sections and apply the cream. Leave on for approximately 15 minutes, rinse and then wash the hair with shampoo and conditioner.
